Product from Jamaica, the cucumber is an elongated, round and sweet fruit, usually greenish-yellow in colour, with a mild flavour and juicy texture. It is usually eaten raw, in salads or as a garnish, and can also be cooked in various dishes. Cucumber is a good source of vitamins C, A and B6, as well as potassium, magnesium and dietary fibre.
