Gales Lemon Curd is made from the juice of carefully selected lemons for a deliciously tangy taste. Enjoy spread thickly on hot buttered toast, muffins or fresh bread, or use as a versatile filling for pre-baked goods.
No GM origin ingredients are used in this product.
Ingredients: sugar, corn/wheat syrup, water, lemon juice from concentrate 8%, margarine, corn starch, whole dried egg, pectin, citric acid, sodium citrate, lemon oil, beta-carotene, ascorbic acid.
Although called a "curd" it isn't actually a curd. It is closer to a custard, being made mostly from egg yolks, yet the consistency is like a cross between jam and honey. But whatever this thing is, it is a zesty accompaniment and especially useful for making a lemon meringue pie- another classic English dessert. Made in United Kingdom
